Emotional Theater uses artificial intelligence to help create personalized educational guides that support Emotional Intelligence and Durable Skills. We believe you should understand when AI is being used, what it does, and what its limits are.

What Is the AI Mentor?

The Emotional Theater AI Mentor is an educational tool that generates an EQ Guide around a focus selected by the user.

A user may choose:

An emotion, EQ skill, or Durable Skill

A learning level or audience

Optional details about what they want to understand or practice

The AI Mentor uses these selections to create a Guide with a focused idea, useful reflection, practical takeaway, and possible next step.

The AI Mentor is not a human mentor.

Personalization Is Optional

Users may add limited context to personalize their Guide. Personalization can help the AI Mentor shape the language, examples, and takeaway around a particular learning goal.

Users can also skip personalization. When no additional context is provided, the AI Mentor creates a complete, ready-to-use Guide based on the selected focus. We sometimes call this the boxed version of the Guide.

Do not submit full names, addresses, passwords, contact information, school schedules, financial information, medical records, or other unnecessary identifying information.

Artificial intelligence may help Emotional Theater:

Interpret a user’s selected learning focus

Organize educational content

Adjust content for the selected audience

Generate reflection questions and practice ideas

Connect Emotional Intelligence with Durable Skills

Create a personalized or ready-to-use EQ Guide

The AI does not independently know the user. It responds only to the selections and information provided during the Guide-building process.

What AI Does Not Do

The AI Mentor does not:

Provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment

Provide medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice

Decide what a person should feel

Determine whether someone is right or wrong

Grade, score, or evaluate a person

Predict behavior or outcomes

Replace a parent, guardian, educator, mentor, employer, or qualified professional

Make decisions on a user’s behalf

An EQ Guide is a learning resource—not a verdict, diagnosis, or instruction.

AI Can Make Mistakes

AI-generated content may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, overly general, or unsuitable for a particular situation.

Users should apply their own judgment and consider the context before relying on a Guide. Mentors should review a Guide before using it with a learner, group, classroom, family, or workplace.

Important decisions should not be based only on AI-generated content.

Human Choice Remains Central

The purpose of an EQ Guide is to support reflection—not replace it.

Users decide:

What they want to explore

Whether to add personalization

Which ideas feel useful

Whether to use a suggested practice

What action, if any, to take next

The AI Mentor may offer possibilities, but the user remains responsible for their choices.

Safety and Sensitive Information

Emotional Theater may use automated systems and safety controls to identify content that may be inappropriate, unsafe, or outside the purpose of the service.

A Guide request may be limited, redirected, or declined when the system determines that it cannot respond safely or appropriately.

Emotional Theater is not an emergency or crisis service. Anyone who feels unsafe or needs immediate assistance should contact a trusted adult, qualified professional, local emergency service, or appropriate crisis-support service.

Teen+ Users

Teen+ is intended for users age 13 and older.

Teen users should avoid sharing personal information about themselves or other people. The AI Mentor should be used as an educational resource and not as a substitute for help from a trusted adult or qualified professional.

Privacy and Data

Information submitted to build a Guide may be processed by Emotional Theater and the technology providers that help operate the AI Mentor.

The rights available to parents and guardians where applicable
